Violette, from our Urban Thinkers team, tied for 4th place at the Donlin Drive Elementary Winter Scholastic Tournament in Liverpool, NY.  She's a Grandmaster in the making!

    information on Coronavirus from the United States Chess Federation
    We fill follow USCF advice pertaining to coronovirus during our events. Disinfectant wipes and hand sanitizer (if available) will be provided on-site; however, feel free to bring your own products. If you have any concerns, please contact Coach McDuffie.

Learn to play, improve your game or compete!​

  1. Ages 4 and up
    We teach students as young as 4 years to adults. Chess helps all ages develop critical thinking skills, concentration, discipline, sportsmanship and deportment. Players at all levels are welcome to attend our classes and tournaments. Contact Coach McDuffie to discuss your participation.
  2. Girls & Boys
    Both girls and boys play chess avidly in our scholastic teams or community chess programs. Ask about our Girls in Chess Rock! program.
